I appreciate very much that you took the effort to critique this.
I'm not really sure what you mean by the bokeh effect, as I didn't intentionally add one. If you mean the colored circles, they were only meant to be that, colored circles.
But how are you supposed to know that, right?

Haha, when I want Bokeh I use Alien Skin's bokeh plugin, which I recommend to anyone who wants the quickest way to get quality bokeh. >.>

Haha, it's particles driven by a fluid dynamics simulation.
Don't know if you're into 3D art, or if that makes any sense, but that's the simplest way I can explain it.

Well, I'm really from Ashland, but I moved to Lex at the beginning of the month. I'm going to UK in August, but my parents wanted to go ahead and move.

Oh no no no.
The ink was a physically simulated 3D scene, and the only brushes I used were the default brushes that come with photoshop too apply some soft effects.

The water effects are very interesting, definitely something you should revist. I'm not so sure about the flat colour circles.

Wow, it's incredible. It looks to me like... a jellyfish, or... the rightmost part looks almost like a face or a skull. It looks determined. I love the splashes of color with the circles, and the rays of light. Beautiful work!

I like this very much. The choice of and clarity of colors is nice. I agree that it does look like a jellyfish at the front with it's tentacles(?) spread over the planet. You can tell you put a lot of work into this, it's very well done!
