Description
Vampyroteuthus infernalis. Final Scientific illustration project. Had a lot of fun doing it and very pleased with how it came out. I went for the more vintage, dorsal view for this one with then the four smaller squid illustrating how it turns itself inside out. This was done in watercolor with some pastels and colored pencils on top. Gonna be a gift for my girlfriend, she liked it so much.Related content

Thank you so much!! And yeah, she's convinced all cephalopods are aliens cause of how weird they are. I also wish I had time to properly frame it.
