I want to be a professional cartoonist/graphic novelist but working to a schedule would be difficult >.< Then again if I were a full time artist without having to work another job then it would probably be fineΒ

That's why I ended up switching my degree 2 years in (luckily it's easy to do without having to repeat years at Scottish universities). I took English Literature because I love books and history but the idea of having to read books for a certain deadline completely took out the fun

Totally agree. I'm finally starting to make art for money, and deadlines really suck. By the way, we met years ago at SPX! I gabbed with your ladyfriend for like, half an hour about how awesome Ninja Turtles were before I realized who she was, and we did a book trade! Still love your work, still look up to you a lot.

In all seriousness, that is a big issue for not only artists, but Writers too. The trick is, work on it when you have the time. Sadly, Life is going to be there with a big honking stick to beat your over the head, then proceed to do questionable things to you with said stick.
