This was an actual exchange I had with some guy at Anime Boston. He spent about 20 minutes looking through my art just to drop that nugget of wisdom on me...at a CARTOON CONVENTION.Though seriously, I swear I'm usually more tactful, polite, and receptive to criticism. This dude just pressed the right "Make Kevin behave like a total ass" buttons. X_x

Ugh. I can totally relate. I often get told I should try to draw perfectly realistic figures and that I can't get far doing toonish stuff. I pity you.
But still, I like the look of the stuffy, pigeon-like asshole.

I notice that he's wearing a batman shirt. Now, speaking from personal experience, people who are fans of western comic styles like marvel and DC favor tend to be very 'high and mighty' over pretty much all other comic styles, moreso the more 'catroony' they are. Just an observation. Was he actually wearing a batman shirt? xD

I don't blame you for it; I'd probably had said something about releasing the hell-hounds of Circe to chase him down and feast upon his wretched flesh as the Beast of the Apocalypse banished his soul to the nethermost points of the world to slowly fade into hideous oblivion like the pitiful waste he is, just after limp-titted harpies had torn his foul eyes, tongue and manliness from his body as many tentacled fiends and demons had violated his every orifice in all ways imaginable and several aren't. Or something like that, anyways...
