It does get old seeing essentially the same cookie-cutter comics being churned out by certain comics over and over and over again. I mean, they require very little and often gain a lot. As for Owlturd, I wish he did more stuff like The Little Firefighter. It was great to see something with a story and characters, not just a generic "life is hard" comic.Β

At face value this is a parody of those relate-ableβ’Β comics from Buzzfeed or something, where the protagonist is all "do do do do do, things sure are going swell!" but then "Life" comes along and beats them up.
But on a meta level, I feel like you've probably had people write you off as a shitty person for having shitty opinions (I know I've certainly had that happen to me). Perhaps talked down to like some unenlightened buffoon who doesn't have any idea as to what they're talking about.
