It almost looks as if you were about to give the character the "Captain N" look (except that Captain N wore a letterman jacket instead of a vest) or the Japanese Satoshi (aka Ash Ketchum) from Pokemon look minus the hat and the Monster Balls.

XDD in all actuality, I based the look on Squall but gave him jeans and a different vest, which just happened to be red >.>
Red was always Roger/Jason's color...
I'm really gonna change his look, because even I see the obvious resemblence to that Kevin (eep!) guy
