man. it has been far TOO long since i've allowed my eyes to make a feast of your beautiful work!
this is simply spectacular!
i remember you explaining how you did this. i'm assuming you're still following the same technique.
parts of this reminds me of the scrubbing technique used in watercolors. i know this is oils,...but is
there something similar that you do?
beautiful work man.

Thank you (as always)....it is on some levels....an adding and taking away, adding and taking away until it's done.

beautiful.. the photograph itself is brilliant to begin with.. very natural.. and what you've done with it perfectly enhances the emotions.. really incredible work.
did you take the photo yourself?

Great shot,
Can you give a step-by-step info on how oilgraph is produced?

👍: 0 ⏩: 1

kevissimo In reply to Yazzphoto [2004-11-18 08:27:25 +0000 UTC]

Hmm...tough one since every one is different. It's more akin to painting than a photographic technique. Though it does start with the original print....the rest is just in how you work with the oil on it. The best way is to just experiment..... kick the contrast up on the print a bit though....
