wow...you have ALOT of comments on this page. I'll keep this short then... the only way i could describe your photo is that it is classic, passionate and kind of intense! I love it! hx

There are so many emotions and tensions that one can feel in this magnificent composition ... the looks, hair flowing in the wind, also the depth of field .. that I will also add it to my favourites, after giving you my congratulations on a photo that leaves me speechless ... because it's better to shut up and enjoy.

I like this very, very much! No particular idea why, I just DO! That's the bottom line with Art huh? So I'm not gonna write some meaningless BS, just it!

Cheers,

Roob.

Heh....thanks so much for that. Yes, that is the bottom line isn't it? I feel the same way. This one for me has just 'stayed' over the years....

thanks again for those words....

No problem!

There is nothing in the image to age it.............................'timeless ' is the word I think I am looking for???

Beautiful shot!

Great composition mate.... I love the shallow depth of field.

This shot really gets me thinking about the way I take photographs. I've got a lot of learning to do.
Even without looking at the comments above, I got the impression that the photo was taken at a beach or coastline, it feel fresh.

The white background suits its purpose well and really draw attention to the models. Might I also add that the woman at the front has an absolutely mesmerizing expression and is very beautiful indeed.

Cheers

its always cool to see an artist break style... which is what this picture seems to be doing with its mainly white overtone (most of your stuff tends to be dark which is cool)... But anyways i like this alot. the white wash that they're in makes me wonder what is going on in their lives at the moment and adds a really ominous feel to the picture... very nice

thanks again.... actually this is old work. From, well, 1991. Overcast shorline in Cape cod. Way before I started doing oilgraphs in 94. Yeah, there was much going on in them that ended up manifesting later....I guess that's partly why I love photography....

Can't quite put into words why I like this one. Let me try a few of the things I can find. The DOF creates a great sense of depth. I love how one girl is looking forward and she is in focus while the other girl is blurred out and is looking at foremost girl. It creates an interesting play of emotion between the two girls.

there's a certain mystique to this that i'm drawn towards,...
the conflicting expressions,...directions in which they're staring,...
one in focus,...one out of focus,...all these varied dynamics,...
yet served to us in a tonal color scheme,...the common thread,...
as if to remind us there is a common 'bond' perhaps? though with
opposing views,...perspectives,...
hmmm.
just rambling on.
i do like the image however.
excellant work.

the depth of sharpness is excellent and the girl in the foreground has a nice profile.. i like the facial expression of the girl behind her... makes me wonder what kind of relationship they have?

Thank you....the strange thing is that they were best friends and it was a really inpromptu shoot on a rainy day in Cape Cod. I had just met them and they had just happened to be staying in my hotel.

It wasn't until a year or so later that their friendship indeed fell apart...perhaps the elements of that disolution were already in play unconsciously....

that's almost scary... i mean the way the photograph anticipates the future...

This image is really pretty, and it minda makes you wonder what's going on in it. The girl who's in focus looks sad, or deep in thought about something that's troubling her....The girl in the background looks kind of pissed, like she's getting fed up. Very, very expressionative The name fits the shot perfectly, because this does make me think of s summer scenario. Maybe one about love. Fantastic shot.
