Description
This project was fairly simple to create in regards to composition and stock images. This is a combination of both photography and digital painting. Here are the steps I did to create this image:

1. Take a shot of my wife walking in a blue dress.
2. Take a shot of a "hair flip" to add some drama.
3. Use photo of my photos of Utah desert for background.
4. Draw basic shape of wave behind her.
5. Sample colors from dress to get the right shades of blue.
6. Add white foam to the top of the wave.
7. Use splatter and debris brushes for those flying water drops.
8. Add overall color grading.
