My friends who know my OP obsession know well enough that while I'm not the biggest shipper about, I can't help but have a massive soft spot for Franky/Robin. Sooooo...I've been wanting to do something in way of art of the two of them for ages.I also happen to find them the hardest of the Straw Hats to draw, go figure.
Re-watching Franky's back story arc the other day reminded me how adorable he was as a little kid and...hell, I can draw chibi little kids... so while time-line wise this would never work (he is 6 years older), I still think it makes for a cute moment.
I love how it's sorta like He's lifting her off the ground yet at the same time she's going in to dip him. There's no way I could decide who would dominate in that odd couple-ship of theirs.

I've always been wondering: What would have happened had Robin entered the Grand Line as a child and somehow got to Water 7? In the flashbacks Tom was worried about her being able to read the Poneglyphs, and Iceburg wasn't too fond of her either *coughunderstatementcough*, but Franky might simply have been his typical energetic self and probably dragged her along to show her his battle ships XD The construction of the Sea Train started when Robin was 6, as far as I know the timeline...Robin as a 10 year old while Franky's 16? Even if there wasn't any romance, imagine how cute it could be!
