Because I felt like it. X3Not that he's act kitty-like, really, but I wanted to draw it for the sake of kitty-like stuff...kitties are love.
Kon is love.
He's one of the few characters I like in Bleach, which is why I'm struggling to get into it. But I do like Kon...he makes it worthwhile.
I blame cuteness, perverted-ness, and a certain English VA whos voice can melt butter. X3

I son't watch Bleach, and don't even really like Anime as a general rule, but I LOVE Kon! See, I've got this thing for lions, and one day I saw a Kon avatar on DA, so I asked about it and found out who the character was. I've watched videos of him on youtube in Japanese, and I've got a Kon plushie in my lion plushie collection now!

I've been reading the manga more than watching the anime, honestly. Kon's more fun in the manga, too - because he's just more amusingly perverted than 'annoying'.

I haven't been able to get into Bleach either...I dunno why.

i've only ever watched the japanese version with english subs (because it was all i could ever find) but after listening the jinta's voice in the english sub
