Hur! Because original titles are SO my thing! XDDone as an advanced commission for someone for Doujin Overload next weekend. She requested a mermaid and this was the end result (and sorry, I'm not doing any more advanced commissions).
Fun stuff to do - most of all that hair.

oh jeez, she's beautiful. i love her colors to endless measures... oranges and blues/teals. ;o; some of my favorites. the whole thing is just so illustrious and gorgeous. she has the sweetest smile and the prettiest eyes. <3 of course i am still a sucker for the pouty lips you draw.
i just oogle at the amount of detail and such in her tail. her fin has that nice hint of transparency as well. ;o; i love how twisty and scrunchy her hair looks!
oooh, faber castells. <3 i have some sepia ones. they're lovely. they really incorperate smoothly with your style. ;A; *point* lookit the pretty eyebrows!

The detail is so overwhelming.............. *A* In a good way. Though, I take it transparent fins is sorta hard traditionally.....?

Actually, I rather enjoy doing transparent fins. :3 The fin around her hip is transparent, but with this image and all the hair, I figured it would be a bit too much for the eyes on the details.

The hair has GREAT texture, I like that. The highlights and low lights pop out so that it isn't one dimensional... And once again... HOORAH FOR STRATIGICALLY PLACED HAIR! :3
