PleaseforgivealltheuploadsI'monarollwitharting, okay?*cough*
A month ago, I got a big sheet of Cresent Illustration Board, and had it cut-down to A4 size - there was some leftover pieces, and I figured I'd experiment with them before using my A4 pieces for artwork...so I went with a subject I love - Rayn(e) (I MISS THE 'E'!)
The textures are wonderful with Prisma Pencil on the surface. Can't wait to use the board for other stuff. :3

She looks much more innocent and cute in your style; very much the opposite, IMHO, as she is portrayed in Jak X (doesn't she had darker blue hair?), thus I wouldn't suspect a thing out of her (good ol' NDI's finally adding a lotta twists into their story developments, but still needs work).
And your artwork -- clean 'n' profesional as ever... tho' th' heartmark is a bit much

Ahhh. the lovely lovely rayne. ^____^ I've been mean'n ta do some nice little fanart of her myself. ( After drawing a recent pic, it occured ta me I havn't even drawn one girl three timez yet. XD ) But ya, I'm yappin over here, lemme give ya some gusyness on teh Rayne loff. ^__^
Kai? As always, the HAIR. I've been studying yer pics lately trying to pic out where you lay down your mediums, and here I gotta saythat it looks like you used the Gouchet for the white highlights on her hair and for the collar of her jacket, yes? I woulda never thought a that! When it comes ta mixing mediums, I'm RATHER *cough*extremely*cough* slow.

You're close, hon! ^__^ I used some gouache for the highlights on her hair, but not the collar of her jacket - that was just rim-shadowing with the pencils. :3

Wow this is purty. Rayn is such a great (and deceiving) character, so how could you not love her? And the Prismacolors sure do have a lovely look to the picture.
The skin texture is nice and smooth, and I like what you did with the background. From a distance it looks like solid water or frosted glass or something. Totally cool.

Her complexion is so shiny and smooth and creamy... and the highlights really bring out her facial structure. <3 Her eyes and her hair are wonderful - one of ND's best calls in terms of scheme, and you've really convinced me of that with your Rayne goodies. x3
I really love her lips. As always, yes! But this time, they're more squared off n' such, but not too much. They've got this uber wicked shape to them. xD Yush. I have a huge lip fetish.
And lookit - the eyelashes are so soft! ;-; Softer than teh way joo usually do them! <3 It looks so pretty on her! Mm, and her red hair bow looks snazzy. XD The white dotties really do the trick on this one.

XDD I MISS THE E TOO! I kinda.. refuse to drop it. e_e; I mean, almost a year ago I named a character 'Reign,' then found out about Rayne... ... and I mean, if I have to change his name because there's an official character with a name that sounds exactly the same.. XD THEN THEY CAN AT LEAST KEEP IT SPELLED PRETTY OMG!
*o* I'm in love with this.. I love all of the subtle differences in her lengths of hair. I feel much Weas/Demyrie-ism coming off of this, actually.
