I just love the way you draw hair in almost all of your images, and the way it looks like vector but is handdrawn, as I think I remember you work in Photoshop right? Either way, you already know you're good, I just wanted to highlight how much I love the way you outline hair, also the combo of thick and thin outlines, it makes it so much more interesting

The two stars are from Peter Pan, "Second star to the right"
I like to think the hair might be a reference to one of Marvel's Runaways, Karolina Dean, but I'm not certain. On second though, it should've had sparkly rainbows in it, not pink, so it's probably not.
Also, it's 11's Fez (cause the War Doc don't count)

I could be wrong but I think the leaves and the wind go with Firefly, since Wash says, "I'm a leaf on the wind, watch how I soar!"

This is minimalist and brilliant! Where some artists would clog such a picture with reference after reference, you chose a few that really define the character. Wonderful colors and composition! THANK YOU for sharing this!

Hmmm... 1) Fourth Doctor scarf (Doctor Who); 2) Firefly; 3) Worm from Labyrinth; 4) Deathly Hallows from Harry Potter; 5) DFTBA (Don't Forget To Be Awesome) - Hank & John Green/The Vlog Brothers; 6) Totoro (Studio Ghibli); 7) The Death Star (Star Wars); 8) Wonder Woman mug; 9) Pascal (Tangled); 10) Club 33 pin on hat (Disneyland); 11) looks like a fez on top of the beret (11th Doctor/Doctor Who); and these final two are total guesses -- 12) the leaves/Colors of the Wind (Pocahontas); 13) Pink tips on blond hair...
