I'm assuming you digitally enhanced the color (??) either way it's an amazing photograph, I'm a killer for dew.

Yes, I did.. I played with the color balance to transform the droplet into something like the planet Earth.. I'm very glad you liked it

I love your raindrops shots, how do you get these close up, I attempted that with my camera, but I don't think that is powerful enough of a camera to get what I need. They come out too blurry. I love this photograph, veyr good...

Unfortunately, a good camera always comes handy when taking these kinds of photos.. I'm using Canon EOS 300D with it's kit lens (the lens which comes in the pack) 18-55 EFS. The thing is, sometimes, even when you are not thinking of a macro (close-up) photo, the high resolution property of the camera (6.0 MP (megapixels) in EOS 300D's case, which is above average), allows you to choose a small portion of the photo, cut it off from the whole and expose it. This way, when you are not thinking of giving the photo to DA as a print (because DA wants a huge resolution photo to make it a quality print, and when you crop the 6.0MP photo, it naturally becomes smaller), the viewers can still see the image clearly, they can even make it their wallpaper (A 6.0MP photo is roughly 3000*2000 pixels in resolution, and a normal 15 inch monitor has a resolution of 1024*768, which is about 1/8th of the whole photo).
I know it's expensive (it had to wait a really long time to accumulate it's cost, btw, it costs about 1500$), but a camera like EOS300D, or Nikon D70, gives you courage to shoot and allows you to experience...

wow, you sure know alot about cameras. This other photographer told me that I should save money and purchase a really good camera, more so a 35mm camera. I was told that a 35mm camera has a better quality to the photograph than a digital one. But then I also got that if you get a digital camera that is at least 6 megapixels, it will do the same job as a 35mm camera. I want to be a better photographer, and I want to be able to take shots like what I see other artist on here have, but with the little camera I have, I can't do much, I am very limited on what I can do or accomplish you know. How do you know so much about camera? How long have you been in photography?

The reason of my knowledge is my incredible interest in gadgets, machinery, electronics etc...
In fact, I'm only into photography for 3 years...
By the way, with a 35mm camera, you can only shoot in 35mm. It's indeed a widely used zoom level, but using a 18-55mm zoom lens, you can adjust your zoom level, anywhere between 18 and 55mm, in this way, 35mm is included in that...
The only investment you have to make, once, is to buy a camera like Canon EOS300D, or NikonD70... But, of course there are thousands of other cameras to choose, too...

So digital cameras are not as good as what you are talking about here. When I upgrade to a higher quality camera should it be a digital or what you are talking about? I hope I am not annoying you with all these questions, I just want to improve and be a better photographer.

I think you have to buy a digital camera... It's easier to use and you can see what you have taken, immediately. 35mm is good, but only 35mm limits your scope.. You have to buy a digital camera, with a retractable lens for getting the best results..

Oh okay, so I just need to upgrade to a 6.2 mp camera with an adjustable lens so that I can get the 35mm quality at least for now.... You are a great help and inspiration...

lol, how would you know if i like emoticons or not? I mean, I don't if used in excess, but I don't recall ever telling you that?

Anyways, you're welcome.

I "sensed" it... Clearly... You have used NO emoticons in ALL your comments and replies.. And here's another proof in this answer... "lol"... You could have used "", but you didn't, and that wouldn't be excess usage...
Sometimes, you feel things... You don't have to always tell something, feed people with direct data processed by you to them, to make them understand or know more about you. People are extremely "intelligent" computers.. They have many "receivers" which can process a single sentence and have enough "meaning meals" for the day...

lol, laughign faces don't really give me the same idea of "I think that's funny" as text does. But winky faces, tongue faces, and plain smilies are cute. I love the hugging one on this site, it's so adorable.
