KhezuG, I'm amazed by this piece of work! I'm also posting though, because a group of programmers/designers and I are currently developing an MMORPG. The universe it's set in is based on a story I had published a few years ago. The main race in the game use bio-suits, and live on a terraformed planet which is isolated from the rest of the sentient regions of the universe (I think you'll like the story actually). Anyway i'm currently seeking an artists to do some drawings, sprites, tiles, etc. I have the story handy of course if you'd like to read it, which would give you a much better idea of the universe and concepts involved than I care to outline in this post.Β

Hey, saw this on hangaroundtheweb, design & art inspirations for the day. Truly stunning. I'm wondering, since I'm also aspiring to make such projects with Photoshop, did you get/make all the needed files yourself? Or did you loan others freely usable, uncopyrighted stocks? On a side-note I realized I'm asking the wrong thing. I'm more asking about HOW you could come up with such an idea and how to do it. It would be immensely helpful to me. Again, I did never offend you, I just might have chosen the wrong words for my comments. My bad.

No, you misunderstand me. I'm just so used to people using certain stocks, brushes and whatnot. All I'm saying is this is amazing, but I just wanted to know if this is all 100% you and possibly, if you take that misunderstood anger aside, could tell me a little about how such a piece is done. There is no insult whatsoever in my question, only a overly interested person who literally loves your artwork. I want to do this myself, you inspire me.

Its ok))) Dont worry)) Just kidding)) Well custom brushes are helpful but practice is always on the top and only practice leads to masterpiece. references are always helpful for creating new images,sometimes it I just watch few pictures from my favorite artists to inspire myself and than draw... to create something interesting you can create some story of what you going to draw?it really helps! For this piece I invented a story about girl who works for government ,and she was testing the prototipe of a biosuit and something went wrong,mutation was out of control and what you see on a picture is what happened after)) So thinking of this story helped me to create this image and it was much more fun to draw it for 20h when thinking about all this story details)

The arts good as always, but the concept of an actual bio-suit is pretty neat. I wouldn't be in the least bit surprised to see that type of technology for real in the far (or not-so-far) future with how cloning and stem-cell research is going. Maybe not a suit but perhaps a vehicular or structure of some type. Although i've never really thought about it until now .... Of course, I still favor cybernetics and brain to computer interfaces personally. Art and science are connected I suppose. Again this is really cool in all aspects. Sorry for the ramble.
