FULL VIEW!!! If you want to see it that is....WARNING: This file is huuuuuuuuuuge so be prepared to wait for it to load for like....ten bajillion hours...or at least 2 minutes if you have an super fast connection like meSomeone on OC asked me to make a tutorial. And people are always commenting there with stuff like "Dude, how do you do your lineart/coloring/shading etc etc" so I said to myself, 'WTF, why not?!' And made one. The only person that will probably ever use it is the one who asked for it, and even they probably won't, but what ever! Here it is anyway. It's in three parts so you have to look at all of them kthnx.
*subliminalmessage* The icon for the 'resources' section is a little shopping cart! LMAO!

Um.. I use the Subeta.org Oekaki and the brezier tool doesnt look all nicely curved. Its all just the same thickness. Is it just the oekaki, or is there some way you can get them to look nicely polished and stuff like that? THe brezier poses so many problems for me, but when I use the freehand, they look all shaky... Please reply XD
PS. YOUR ART IS AMAZINGOMFG!!!

*checks out the Subeta oekaki* It seems to have the same configurations as the OC one. Which I like XD Must remember to use that one. *cough* Anyway, the bezier works fine for me o.0 Are you talking about weighting the lines? Like you want the curves to be thicker? It doesn't do that automatically wherever you are Getting it to be that way is simple enough though. Once you've got your base line, just make another one on top of that, but curve the middle just off of the original so that it adds to the thickness. If that makes any sense at all o.o And then I usually taper them at the end with the eraser, to make the ends nice and pointy.
Hope that helps ^^

I dont think thats quite what I mean. I mean its all one thickness (the line) and its really thick. Yours is set at 7, but its super thin at places, and then super thick at others, but you didnt get to the taper step yet. I just dont get it XD If you dont know what I mean, its ok, nevermind
Once again, your art is superspiffehiiffyiffy
and if you join/have joined subeta.org, you can open up a commish. board and you could probably get 50k in subeta points for each drawing. There (un-like neo) it is accualy legal to sell graphics and art XD

Right, the problem with Shi Painter is that at OC, 7 px thick isn't actually 7 px thick o.0 I never got that...but 7 px is more like...I dunno 2 or 3. At most other oekakis, I find myself forced to use a 1 px thickness and then I just go over it a few times to add a little more weight to it. The way to get the different thickness like on this one is still the same. You just go over them a few times and....weight them x.X Sorry I don't really know how to describe it.
I'm a member of Subeta, yeah ^^ A new one, mind XD But a member nonetheless. I've heard much talk of these commission boards o.0 Still debating whether I have time to open one or not.

Ok then ^_^ That clears it all up. Thank you! I still dont understand how to use the tool, but thats all on my own terms XD I'm just used to the simple simple one in MS Paint. I was wondering.. If you ever open a comish. board, please tell me! I would be glas to be first in line, whatever the cost XD I have been a fan for a long time -nod nod-

Personally, I like [link] because it has different rooms for different subjects and skill levels. It's widely used too. There's tons of members. I've tried the small independantly owned ones, but they're just not the same. As for the program, you need Java which you can download here: [link]
