in my imaginary interpretation of THOR 2 after the chaos in "the avengers" Loki is not a prisoner...but he voluntarily chooses to remain isolated for his wounded pride XD (???)

That is very true. Honestly I don't think Loki's all that bad. I mean, Bane was killing peeps left and right for no apparent reason. Loki wasn't out to kill anybody, just subject them to his rule. How can you rule people when they're dead?

Ever watch Star Trek where people are imprisioned...they use force fields to keep them locked. Then the power goes out and they escape. I can think of maybe one or two episodes, where they construct actual doors to keep them contained.
