K on July 3rd, we had a series of tornado warnings. And, the tornado crazy person that I am, I jumped into my Ford Escort (sheyah, safe XD) and went storm chasing!Took a series of neat pictures, actually got right in the storm itself! Freaky but SOOO COOOL!!!!
My dad calls me crazy.
I think he's right XD
This was one of the neatest pictures I took.
And boy were the clouds moving fast.

Seriously, I've never seen clouds shaped like ocean waves before. Cotton-candy ocean clouds, maybe. But not rolling, surging clouds.

It's so intense being in the whole storm. These are some of the most dangerous clouds to see, actually. If they're a greenish grey, and they look like they're rolling like that, then it normally means that there's a chance for a tornado to touchdown.^^

Yeah, that's the shade clouds turn when there's a serious tornado warning. That's about when you should be on watch.

Well, the tornado never touched down, but if it had, I was probably close enough to get sucked into it if it DID touch down. My car started shaking when the wind got super strong within mere seconds, so that's when I decided to get out of there.
It was really neat, though like my dad said, totally crazy.

It's been raining on and off since May here too, with tons of thunderstorms. This was the first time it got this bad in a few years, and like the crazy person I am, I was out taking pictures!
