Inheritance tale (Where Noelani's from) has a frisk-type and chara-type character (Her twin brother, Abyss). And takes place after a neutral ending of UT. Which one it is affects the story the twins go through and their corrisponding roles.Β
The idea came about from a 'what if" question initially. Still designing how all of the main characters will change, which would change depending on the ending that the start of this adventure takes place after.
So depending on what "route" the boys visit during, that would affect how they interact with the twins and even the other characters and that world's Sans and Flowey. Still debating on Flowey's role in this AU, but IU's Sans acts like a guide and guardian to Noelani (Lani).

I need to draw Abyss's design and figure out how each path would work. If it were a game, it wouldn't just have RESETS, but actually NEED them to progress through the whole game. Asriel and 'Chara' can be saved, but with either great sacrifice (asriel) or great determination (Chara and going through ALL the routes, and by that I mean starting off with the best (Queen Toriel ending), going to the worst (No Leader Ending) and going back up to the best (Back to tori). And to save Chara, Noelani must save her brother, Abyss, who is Chara's true Reincarnation. As for the six souls, they weren't shattered, just scattered throughout the underground. Abyss and Noelani race to gather them all, and the final pacifist ending has three versions: Sinner's Sacrifice, Angel's Gift, and Hope for the Future.
Sinner's Sacrifice is when Abyss offers his soul as the 7th soul and Asriel returns. Angel's Gift is the same, but with Noelani's soul instead. And finally, Hope for the Future leads to the Asriel Fight, and both twins survive.
I've been thinking about this AU a lot....

Oh my gosh. . . thats more thinking than I've done on Code Dimension I think. I mean. . .If I plan of doing the split comic where you can either read the Genocide route or the Pacifist route, i'd have to figure out how it would go. I have an idea but. . . I'd rather chat about those ideas in private because it could be spoilers about it.Β Β
