It has come to my attention as of late, that some people do not know the difference between Ty and Kilara... well I made this pic to clear everything up.
So on to the differences...
Ty:
(the girl on the Left) 5'5" 89lbs - she is a character for my 'just for fun' story "Entropy". She is a Demon, daughter of Zankorf. She is also now known as the mistress of Pain.
She is immortal, she is forever stuck appearing to be about 15, (she is about 100 now). she has also been cursed with the phoen ability from her father.
Ty has been messed with by scientists several times... but was born naturally, and has 2 brothers-twins (not identicle) Spike and Atma.
She is married to Ethan, and has had childeren with him. She also has Cho, the invincible, indestructible, little blue butterfly, following her around.
Her demon from is a large purple, almost black Panther with long blood red hair draping from her head.
Kilara:
(the girl on the Right) 5'6" 98lbs - she is a scientific experiment, to be the main weapon in a war errupting from the bases of the world. She doesnt know much other than the truth of friendship. She has no parents, and her powers are unknown... all that is known is that she can heal.
Kilara is a character from my manga "The Xiro Myth"

now that is all cleared up, I hope you people take the care to actually read this, and not come asking about this anymore.

Hahaha ive been faving without comments so ill wrap it all up in this one your work is very much amazing ive always loved dragons and any other form similar to dragons and you've done very well in creating a "new" race. as for this one i really like it and it reminds me alot of Jessica Peffer's art if you havent already id say you should visit her site at neondragonart.com

oo they are very neat characters, i love what you've told about both of them.. and i absolutely love this picture, you put so much care and detail into everything in it.. i love the coloring and the inking and the poses and the shading and the colors you chose, and I just love everything. I muuust fave this.

Those are really lovely wings, especially the demonic ones. The posing is fun, too, and really works for the theme. The costuming is a really strong point for you (pink straps = awesome...and I hate pink, even). The coloring has texture and depth, especially on that demonic wing again.
The things I'd mention for improvement are finding something that suits both of the characters in terms of background. White might work for the angelic girl, but the demonic one doesn't seem to fit. Also, you mention the characters being 5'5" and 89 pounds and 5'6" and 98 pounds....they're very, very underweight, near to the point of death. (Body Mass Index lists underweight being 18.54. Your characters are 14.8 and 15.8 respectively @_@)
This is fine, it's just that they really don't look like that. They look like averagely baby fatted tweenagers. Anorexia articles and sites might have good reference for them, in that case. :sweat:

I purposly left the bg white to keep the attention on the characters =^_^= and the reason they are so light is because they are both genetically inhanced, or created, for war.
If you pay attention to most characters in video games, like cronocross... like Kid is 98 lbs, 5' something... they do it often. I an at least giving a reason to their underweight.
I am glad that you liked the pic tho =^_^= and glad that you do see the difference between the two characters.

I wasn't protesting that they were underweight. I was just saying the way you drew them they didn't look like the measurements you gave.

Well the people that actually read the descriptions of your stuff know who's who.
I think this is a really awesome piece. Even if it was made just to clear some... misunderstandings up, you've done a totally awesome job of showing the characters. The linework is clean, the colours are really nice, complimented by your unique shading style, and I just love wings...
I really like the way you've contrasted the two characters by making such opposites, and then put them are hand in hand.

Wear did that background symbol come from? Did you actually do it and if so how? I've never seen you do a whole lot of things like that and it looks quite "regular" in the sense that all the lines are straight and the circles are perfect. But I must say it's quite interestingand suprising of you, yet fitting for this picture

*cheers* I caught on to the difference pretty quick, and there's plenty saying "wow" so I'll skip that part and get to the flattery. My favorite part is the way you shaded Kilara's wings. It's gorgeous. It's my favorite shading of white I've ever seen you do ^^ Great positioning too, great setup for contrast, I mean. I remember your similar wing placement in the Phoenix twins, and I've loved that too *bounces off again*

The difference of one is the sum of the parts concerning one. I.e. every rational number must be able to be respresented as a fraction such that a/b where b>0
In conclusion the difference of one is the only way to rationalize some expressions. It is only rational that there be a difference of one.

I will not hold back now that my heart is out of the way. Kraken the monster has returned, for no longer does love plunder his heart and soul with its warm touch. I am cold once again, and now the blood shall flow from these lands and every other. I shall take my hot reveange on the people of earth for my pain. *clenches fist* I am evil once again. *flies off*
