Description
One of the coolest book series in the Dungeons and Dragons universe! If you haven't read the "Chronicles" series, check 'em out! They are so totally worth the time. And then read the "Legends" series.Loved the character of Raistlin. He was bad before bad was good! So here we have Raistlin in his square-off with the Queen of Darkness, Takhisis! Fun times!

Yeah, man! Those books have some great characters. The story was epic and the stakes were always high. I've actually only read Chronicles and Legends, but I understand Weis and Hickman teamed for more books just recently. Should probably try to hunt those down.
I think Legends was pretty cool. Seemed to take a darker spin and focused on how Raistlin was to play a pivitol role in the world. Fun stuff, for sure.

Love this as only real Raistlin fans can! You did a fantastic job on both Raistlin and the Dark Queen.

Love it! That is the cool thing about takhisis-- gives you a chance to draw heads in different styles of dragon!

Yhea Rasitlin is a pretty interesting character. He has quite some motivation, personality and general depth to him. And as you said he was bad before bad was a good thing. But sadly I find the rest of the characters pretty lacking. But as young adult adventure novels they're decent enough, or if you want a quick read.
Also don't forget the latest series the Lost Chronicles (Dragons of the Dwarven Depths, Draagons of the Highlord Skies and Dragons of the Hourglass mage), while I hold the same reservations as before I do recommend them to anyone who likes the previous two trilogies as they revisit the old characters and tell a few unknown stories. Personally I prefer Dragons of the Hourglass mage, but that's because it's focused on Raistlin and he was my reason for reading the books in the first place. XD

Sounds very cool. Sounds like "Dragons of the Hourglass Mage" is one that I'll need to check out! Thanks for the comments!

Oh yhea it is! They're more or less independent from each other, but I'd still get all three if I were you. (Highlord skies deals with Kitiara and Dwarven Depths with the rest of the good guys...)
