Description
Some of the development of these characters' personas for my novel SHC.

1. Ravio does not often use his powers, but we can see them in SHC when they become in control of another person (storyline)
2. Ravio is Hilda's brother. Unlike her, he does not have a heart, which is explained in the written form of SHC.
3. The way Ravio and Link meet is based on the game itself.
4. In SHC, Link and Zelda are incredubly close friends. Zelda supports him (as "different" as he is) and listens to what he has to say.
5. Regardless of Link's feminine taste in SHC, he's still the hero and can endure rough times.
6. Link's long bangs seem like the left-over of a different look, so this was incorporated into the story.
7. It may have been the long-hair look displeased the Blacksmith, got in the way, or made people uncomfortable as some mistook Link for a girl. Whichever the reason, the back of his hair is gone.

Center: Link and Ravio are a canon couple in SHC. They do not like each other because they look alike, but because of what makes them different, and the moments they shared together during Link's endeavors in saving Hyrule/Lorule. This particular fragment of their lives is narrated by Link himself in SHC.
