I've been getting really into reading Portal fanfiction lately. Actually, more like I'm going through a Portal craze again (Portal 2 has made me dive more into the fandom than the first game did). One of the fanfics I've been reading had an... interesting scene to say the least. I think it's better for people to read it for themselves so here're links to the fic:

I'm super excited about drawing mechanical things now. Ever since I saw that live artist drawing demo at ToraCon last year I've been meaning to draw more robots and stuff. Now that I've played Portal 2 I have a plethora of robots to draw
I'll probably end up drawing more scenes from various fics, too.

The actual picture I'm pretty happy with, but keep thinking something's wrong. Maybe it's the green? I couldn't think of another color that would look good as a representation of 'data' and 'binary'. It is supposed to be in a virtual setting, not in the physical world, it's the metaphysical. I dunno

By the way, that is in fact binary layered with the green. Since Wheatley is deleting files and reads them as binary in the story I opted to make it more visible and include some of the files he deletes in the fic along with other silly files.
