I must say I am really proud of how this turned out sidepass attempt again ! Johannes is truly a JOY to draw wish him luck on his very first show with Kaira :3

Story :

" Good afternoon. " Kaira greeted on of the fellow competitors in the warm-up ring with a tip of her helmet. A bright smile laying on her lips. She was more than relaxed today on her black Friesian stallion. Who strutted through the ring proudly amidst the warmblood horses. Of course that was always to be expected in higher level dressage, but to be there with something a little different was always just amazing to her. Like with Ghost, to have such a small little horse compete with the big stretchy warmbloods just gave her an extra boost to do even better. And she felt the same way with Johannes as well. Surely this was not grandprix just yet, but it was already hard enough for there to maybe be a difference. However; Kaira believed this stallion to be very talented for dressage. And this show would be a great way to see how he reacts to the show grounds and conditions. Which till now, the black steed was such an angel. Not making a fuss around other horses or leaving on his own. His mind was cool and focused. Although of course some things were still scary, like those pumpkins next to the ring when they first entered.

It took but a round for him to get used to them and realize they weren't going to eat him, but after that he was as sweet as a lamb and Kaira started riding her kür with such joy. The stallion had a certain strength and power in him that always came close to Nero's already. His trot thundered as he extended. His walk had a swing that almost looked like a dance by itself. And his canter stable and a nice rhythm. Yes, she was very glad her grandpa had approached her with the horse. And she felt honoured riding this first show with him.

She halted him at the end of their ride and greeted the judges, giving him a well deserved pat and hug around his huge neck as she walked to the exit of the arena.

" Well done handsome. "

She whispered to him, sitting back up again in the saddle. It's then when she noticed a girl seeming..excited when they passed ? She smiled at her for a moment, sending her a wave. Was that really for her she wondered ?
