It's stated in the story that there is the possibility (if Littlepip had chosen to) that Princess Celestia could produce a dragonfire portal to send objects directly back to Spike. However, Littlepip declined that offer back then for the reasons stated in the final chapters.

Ah I read that so long ago that I have forgotten details like that. But heres a real mind bender for me. If she goes in the pod to clear up the skies what happends when she dies? Equestria is back to cloudy wasteland...well just really cloudy?

Not unless the Pegasi replace the cloud cover back over Equestria. It's stated that Littlepip had already cleared the cloud cover prior to the events of the ten year afterword.

Right cus they needed it for food and stuff. But then if she could keep it cleared then why not leave after the job was done? Let me guess she felt that the wasteland had changed her in a way, you know never the same again type thing. With losing her leg, slaughtering a town, and not to mention some specific character deaths finally got to her and she broke down a bit. Man I think i need to re-read it and focus more on some of the main points. Like I still dont exactly remeber redeyes motives other than rebuilding equestria (in a selfish way)

No no, absolutely. The direction is always interesting, but I hate when the supposed good guys harm or hurt the hero. It feels wrong to me, but makes for a more interesting story.

Why? I don't think Spike knows what goes beyond whatever he sends via his flame, other than when things return via the teleporter, he probably asks how Littlepip is which is then hand-waved off by whoever returning. This is assuming that the NCR do conduct regular trips to the SPP, and that Spike probably thought this was just another scheduled inspection.

Well, Celestia is basically a giant computer, and Littlepip could talk with Regina somehow a few pages back. And Spike has a super computer in his cave. Celestia should be able to contact him and broadcast to him what is happening on her side. That, and if they plan to do something to Littlepip, like have her in court, they do need to exit via flames again. Unless they plan to kill her there once they make sure it's safe...

Ugh, I hope there's a happy ending in all of this!

Regina has to share power and decision making with the other council members, it's how a basic democracy based on equal representation has to operate. It's obvious that Regina didn't want to do this to Littlepip but against the other council members it's 3-to-1 in favour of Littlepip's removal from the SPP.

Doesn't the President have the right to veto decisions? That's how it is in my country at least... I think... also, as the President, isn't she the Chief-in-Command of the military? Since they had send soldiers there, it should count as a military operation.

Anyway, though, I am quite happy to see the NCR portrayed as such, due to few reason. One being how pissed I got in Fallout New Vegas over the course of doing quests for NCR. In that part when they ordered to attack Kings I knew that there's no way I'm letting that happen (though after I reseted to the last saved point and still finished their quest line) that they would be the winners. Another reason being how shitty democracy is in my country. Seriously, if it was an option, I would vote to bring monarchy (people theorizing about such possibility even found a descendant of our first king).

That's why, in my own story I plan to have my character be strongly against NCR... when I get to the point when he meats them. In fact, I planned something similar to what's happening here... except that if it were my story, the military guy would find himself with a Guntrotters 13 mm Auto Anti-Alicorn Combat Pistol "Angel" (loaded with armor-piercing 13mm bullets, jacketed with casting of starmetal and tipped with a hollow point containing an explosive gem), pressed to his head from a guy who is in the process of turning off his stealtbuck, while his Pipbuck is broadcasting the entire thing across the Wasteland. Pity that I won't reach that point in, like, ten years at this rate, and will probably change a bunch of my plans (especially that this scenario is a little bit too alike to this comics, which I'm really enjoying by the way) in my head... or forget most of this.

I... sense I got a little off topic there...

Back to the subject of Regina, I was under the impression that they had a way to communicate with her... so maybe at least she could tell Littlepip that this would happen? So that she wouldn't get surprised and do something stupid? Which, come to think of it, would be a smart thing... unless they plan to keep Littlepip arrested, and, I dunno, press charges against her for... slaughtering Arebu? Plain riddiculous... wiping out the clouds, which caused famine among pegasi? That would be even stupidier, considering that's what ended the war. I know, that's more or less how the world works now, with some of those who contribute to the war being considered war criminals, but I didn't see Stalin put on trial for what he did to my country, so I don't want to see one of my favorite ponies go through that.

Having said that, I am impetiently awaiting the next page

Well earlier in the comic it's shown that Littlepip's removal had already been on subject between Littlepip and Council for some time, it's only now that the NCR has had enough and delivered the ultimatum to remove her now. 

I don't think Regina is the president per say, she's the main figure head of the NCR council perhaps but she has the same voting power and influence as the other Council members, It's not equal representation if one member can veto and completely nullify a majority vote. They have to vote and act together as a council with the majority vote winning what is chosen and done, this is not an age old democracy with ancillary powers for certain positions but a new basic democracy just grasping the starting ideas of a one.

Plus I believe that the actual military handling is done by actual Commanders and Generals in the NCR military, the council just push and suggest courses of action, Like the NCR in Fallout the politics and the military is often separate and the decisions in the Political structure is pressed upon the military structure.

And I too am eagerly waiting for the next page.

Well it was shown earlier in the comic that the Enclave and the NCR had merged together (shown by the pegasus councillor) so it's probably not surprising that they're following some textbook method of acquisition from the Enclave.

I'm not sure Pip plans to resist. I can see this chapter ending with Pip agreeing to come along peacefully, just for the purpose of confronting Reggie and the council and figure out what's really going on. I'd be more worried, if I were the NCR troops, about Celestia. SHE IS THE SECURITY SYSTEM! That's the one part that she's always had control over. And if you don't think Dash would have designed things like magical energy turrets and the like in her central hub, that's insanity!

Plus, she and Littlepip figured out how to get the communications system hooked up and operational, so she now has the ability to broadcast this whole incident if she wishes. Or warn Homage about it, and have DJ report the whole thing.

Either way, Celestia is the most dangerous thing in the SPP right now!
