Description
So I have this headcanon that Lapis Lazuli knows who the Centipeetle was. And was once friends with the former gem. When or if Lapis becomes redeemed, I think the moment she goes into the bubble room she will recognize a lot of gems, and when she finds Centipeete's gem she quickly pops it and finds out what happened to her old friend. Lapis then convinces Steven to try and heal the corrupted gems. And during the time he tries, Lapis ends up keeping the centipeetle around, often keeping it calm by petting and holding the lil monster.

So its not just a headcanon, but also a bit of a prediction for Monster Reunion, but only if Lapis is set free before that episode airs.
