I actually did this in my game, since I heard there are alternate endings in breath of the wild based on what you do, or don't do, i heard that the best ending comes from defeating all the main [i hope, i'd hate to have to fight all the overworld talos and hinoxes] bosses and collect all the memories. So that's what I set out to do, I freed all the Divine beasts, got the master sword and for the past few play sessions i've had, went around finding all the memories of link's previous life 100 years ago. The prob is, the 8th (but let's face it everyone will probably go and get that one last which is why i named it 12th) is in Hyrule Castle, where the finale of the game is! Luckily being an open world game, you can enter and leave major areas with ease. The memory within Hyrule castle was the last one I needed before i could go back to Impa to finish the quest, so after wandering the outside of Hyrule castle a bit, I found a tower which looked rather suspicious on the east side, this tower is Zelda's study, and the location of the last memory needed, I watched the cutscene in it and then booked it outa there to Impa, who revealed where the actual final memory of the game is, which is in Hateno fort (that took like 20 minutes of me wandering around that area trying to find which dead guardian had it XD)

So while I finished one main quest, I'm sure Zelda was none too pleased to see the hero of Hyrule come storming into the castle, beat up some guardians, and then leave once he found a memory. She later tells you once you finish the memory quest to get your ass to Hyrule castle and finish it once and for all basically!
