Description
Time period: Post CenozoicHomeland: England and possibly all continents with the exclusion of Antarctica
Diet Carnivore
Fatalaties caused: Countless people
Myths inspired none
Description: The future lineage of bat, the future predator is an aggressive but social carnivore that lives in packs and protects its young in nests in the remains of buildings that were made during man's rule before they went extinct. This animal is both diurnal and nocturnal. It is blind so it sees through the use of an advanced form of echolocation and has completely lost its eyes. Instead all that is left of its eyes are its eye-ridges that will probably be gone slowly just like the appendix in man, pelvis of whale, leg bones of snakes and the arms of tyrannosaurus. Further into the future these animals turn to cannibalism due to harsh conditions of the future world and loss of habitat (ruins of man made buildings). Due to convergent evolution, it has evolved an ape-like stance. It may also be heading towards a similar evolutionary path as humans were because it has all the things humans had; strong bonds with its own kind, extreme intelligence, problem/puzzle solving capability and an extremely striking ability to be able to stand on its hind limbs. This pose was spotted by Connor Temple of ARC who once spotted a mutated future predator standing on its hind legs, just like a human for lookout. Although it can't walk on its legs bipedaly, it can burst with its strong muscular legs so quickly that it is sometimes impossible to spot it. Its speed, agility and thinking ability have been noticed very very well and make it probably the most ferocious and cunning predator since tyrannosaurus!
Innaccuracies fixed: Added lips and fur
Encounters: These animals have been encountered a million times and are almost impossible to defeat.
Status: Alive in the future

ARTISTIC NOTE: I've re-uploaded this picture, slightly edited. I've added lips and fur on the future predator because it is important for a mammal and also because my goal is to re-design these animals with a more scientifically accurate version, which applies to the future animal, even if they are not real.

How exactly can you make a more realistic design for a creature that’s from the future?
Creatures from the past I can understand because that’s our interpretation of them. But that’s not necessarily the same case when it’s a creature from a time AFTER mankind.

What's with the "that’s"?
And even a fictional thing can be inaccurate. Well, thing is, the future predator is basically a mammal, and because it's a mammal, it must have fur. Otherwise, it can't be a mammal. It also must have lips, because not having lips is not being a mammal as well. Even proto mammals like gorgonopsids most likely had lips.

Sorry, that’s just something that happens whenever I write a message on DA on my phone and post it. I don’t know why it does that.
I can see the point you’re trying to make, but technically not all mammals have fur. Large animals like Rhinos, Hippos, and Elephants (I’m talking modern elephants and not their extinct wooly cousins) are mammals and they have little to no hair. Neither do Naked Mole Rats and some species of pigs. Then there are Whales, dolphins, and porpoises which are completely hairless yet they are still mammals. The thing about lips is true, since it’s most commonly seen in mammals. But an animal doesn’t have to be covered with fur to be a mammal. The Future Predator could’ve started losing body hair over the course of millions of years. That’s what happened to whales and dolphins when they eventually evolved to live permanentely in the water. It can even apply to us humans, as we’re a lot less harier than our primate ancestors.

I see, it must have been auto-correction.
Also, correction:

Okay, but the point I’m ultimately trying to make is maybe don’t turn it into a fuzz ball.
All the animals I listed may in fact have hair, but the fact is they have very little hair to be visible is something that can applied to the Future Predator.

I've been thinking of re-doing all of these, so I actually have that planned. I'm gonna change the backgrounds of all to look similar to this along the way I'll re-draw some.

This makes it sound like have a problem with them after that. The ones in season 3 were the exact same ones as the previous ones. Season 5 is the one where they got "mutated" like horror movie monsters.

If you rewatch Series 3, the Predators lack the speed and agility that the Series 1-2 ones had, they appear to just walk around too lazy to run.
