A goblin. This one doesn't dance a magic dance though.

I always pictured Goblins using pole weapons. Why? Well think about it, a goblin is much shorter than a human. Using a short weapon, like a sword, mace, axe, etc it would have problems reaching his opponent at all, not to mention wounding him fatally. From his perspective, it would probably feel like for regular size human to fight a mounted opponent. Therefore, a long spear. Notice how the spearhead has been forged in order to resemble goblins head, with a pointy nose and two ears. the goblin has also an extremely keen sense of hearing and smell, due to those overgrown organs.
