based on regions:hoenn: plusle/minun
their "tails" are gathered from the toys (legos) often found in the Lilycove Department Store along with many plusle/minun plushies
sinnoh: pachirisu
the tail is made from fur gathered from various pokemon such as absol, shinx, pachirisu etc
unova: emolga
the tail is made from the arms of sigilyphs (I seriously couldn't think of anything else if anyone has any better ideas please feel free to tell me lol)
kalos: dedenne
self-explanatory
Johto: pichu
the tail comes from burned wood at the burned towerΒ
pikachu is common and found across all regions

I love the little items that Mimikyu uses for the tail on each design. It's a perfect finishing touch and really shows that you paid attention to Mimikyu's original design! Tbh I didnt know that was a stick until about a week ago...
