If I meet that man somewhere, I'm dragging him home and chaining him to my bed. So sorry.

It's great without the filter, too! WTF? ^^

I very much prefer it without the filter.
To me, a lot of the photoshop filters look... cheap?
Ack, but the original is beautiful. Usually what I do if I can't decide about using a filter or not, is a duplicate the layer do the filter and put it at 50% or 25%, then it's somewhere in the middle
But in this image's case, I don't think I would use filters at all.

hard to say which one is better or worse (filter or without) they both tell a different story and both are fantastic!

He does look quite a lot like Mozenrath, though mainly in this version, which looks more harsh. The unfiltered version seems more emotional. They're both very gorgeous, though!

The version without a filter looks like the guy who played Raoul in Phantom of the Opera the movie. Sorry, though, I don't see him around much to pass along your message
Very nice work, though. I like both versions. Without the filter you can see his blue eyes better and he looks almost sad. The filter hides that and it looks more like cold disinterest. Both great variations.

He feels very Aladdin and the 1,000 nights! Gorgeous eyes!

Filters usually make me shudder, people overuse them so much!
But this is well done. It works wonders for the picture. Great job. The original is awesome as well.

I think the non-filtered one looks splendid! But the filter looks impressive as well. Think me daft if you must, but I think the filter makes the picture look like it was made with colored sand; very in mood with the piece.
Good work! Keept it up! ^_^

oh my, he is quite sexy..~<3.
the filter-less version makes him look softer, but otherwise he still looks badass and scary XD

O_<
Not sure, exactly. We don't get the disney channel where I live, but back in the day there was an Alladin cartoon and one of the main villains was called Mozenrath, and looked a lot like this guy. But I'm not sure, since I haven't seen a picture of him in months.

your work is very beautiful! for me, even the version without filter looks cool. it is as if the unfiltered one is a mask to hide his true self( the filtered one). i love them both! ^_^

Great job! And the filter one does look more impressive!
You know what, he reminds me of Max Frei's books, ever read one?

Aw, gawd, he's gorgeous!
Especially in the version without filter, you can see his facial features better... Although I agree, the filter version has some coolness factor... ither way I want him too ;_;

I wouldn't tell that the watercolor version is worst. In my humble opinion, it's even better. Less dark and blurry, with brighter color and wonderful shades.
Of course, it's all a matter of taste.
If you'd shave my boyfriend's beard I think they'd be quite alike.

The both versions are really interesting.
I'm not a fan of using filters, but the darker execution give him something more mature, but a little metallic.
An in the lighter version, the man is really sexy After this is a question of taste
Anyway, this is a really cool portait.

Heheh, interesting, contrary to what I would normally say, I like the one with filter best. He's a bit darker and more menacing. Very nice anyway!
