the sketch for my halloween image, yet to be colored. i'm quite excited about playing around with coloring and finishing this, but because it'll probably involve quite a bit of detail work, i most likely won't be able to get it completed until a week from now. so, i leave you with the sketch (mostly because i'm getting sick of looking at my other deviation). <3feel free to suggest things. i'm not looking to change anything about the girl (besides her left foot - it's a little too small), but if you have anything nifty you might like to see added to her, or done with the background (particularly the sky), i'm all ears. :3
done in the openCanvas 3+ trial version i just downloaded, because oC 1.1 isn't on my computer anymore. ;;

Awesome pic! As for the background, you should put up a full moon in a dark sky with... something's silhouette in front of it, but not a witch or something cheezy like that... I love your art!

i like the way you play interacting with her tail and the pumpkin.
You can play with blues and purples in the background, afected with the color you choose to the moon. And warmers values on the front.

yesyes, it's definitely longer than average, but people have different torso lengths, and i've made her rather long in general, so i don't think i'll be doing anything about it~

The sketch is great, very dynamic pencil work. Maybe her left leg is a little too thin, though. I mean, the upper part of the leg : since she's lying (???) on the potatoes (hum well, can't remember how it's called), it should be a little larger I think. Sorry I can't remember most words.. crazy when you think that I'm just coming back from the US...

they're called pumpkins. xD
and, well, you can't see it too well, but she's supporting herself with her right leg on a pumpkin, and her left leg is extended to a lower pumpkin, with just her knee and shin resting on it. so, the right leg is folded, and therefore a little thicker, while her left leg isn't smushed against anything, it's just stretched. i do need to make the left calf and foot a bit bigger, though.

Ok ! but still, I think her left thigh (hope it's the right word) is a bit too thin compared to her right leg. At least it stroke me at first sight. Even if this leg is not folded.. I mean, considering the move she's doing, the muscles should be bigger.. Otherwise, nothing to criticize, hehe. Anyway, do as you like, it's great as it is.

my boyfriend found me two registry codes...so now i'm apparently registered and everything is working smoothly. (i dunno what it means to be registered...but, ok)
