She appears aloof, but she isn't really. There are many Llamas used in this area to protect sheep flocks from predators such as coyote, wolf and bear. This llama isn't used for a guardian; I use their hair.Full view is best.

Yes some people believe they are great guardians and swear by them, however I will take my guardian dogs over a llama any time.
