Yeah, the Mario cartoons mixed with angst does not fit that well, but again, considering the whole Kooky and Cheatsy got into a fight but didn't make up event in Tomodachi Life got me sad. I wanted to draw this for some time, and thankfully it came out pretty darn good.
Yeah, so I would think what happened is that Cheatsy, being the sneak that he is, had betrayed Kooky's trust. Kooky is still very bitter over the whole ordeal and won't find it in him to forgive Cheatsy over what happened despite the latter's sincere apology.
I talked with someone about this story, and they considered it a role reversal of Oh, Brother!, just with the Koopalings instead. It makes sense to me actually.
Does this mean Cheatsy destroyed Kooky's favorite record then?

Cheasty sitting at the table with his family had the sudden urge to yell out kooky's secret but he made a promise and if he broke it his best friend would be mad and wouldn't speak to him again Cheatsy looked around and finally he yelled out (you decide what Kooky's secret is) Everyone looked at Cheatsy with a cold stare and everyone expect Kooky busts out laughing Kooky than gets up and gives Cheatsy a Death stare as he walks Cheasty after dinner goes to Kooky's room "Hey Kooky I wanted to say sorry" said Cheasty "NO NOT ONE WORD...I trusted you and you told the whole family...this friendship is over" Said Kooky as he walked out and that was the last time Cheasty and Kooky talked to each other

Cheats tried calling Kooky's cell; it was the seventh missed call. But Kooky couldn't answer the phone.
Cheatsy called again and again for 4 weeks, but Kooky never woke up. The last thing he heard was Cheatsy's tearful message before the morphine set in...

Aww, this is so heartbreaking. I hope these two are able to make up at some point. Brothers shouldn't fight, especially brothers as close as these two. Poor Cheatsy...

It's a 3DS game where you have Miis living their lives on an island. Cheatsy and Kooky are among the many Miis in the game I made. They were friends for a while, but they got into a fight and when Cheatsy tried to apologize Kooky wasn't over it and their friendship sadly ended...
