I love everything about Cideribon's design, especially her pleasant color scheme! One of these days, I may take up drawing fan art of her! ;-;
While the background may be considered "simple", it isn't distracting to look at! Instead, not only does it give the viewer something else to look at, but it helps create a contrast between the rest of the black background and the character herself. I also want to say that both thin and thick lines go consistently well with your art style, especially if there's a certain mood in the artwork itself!

its not invasive at all! i currently am quite proud with the direction im going in art and im experimenting a lot with stuff while still doing things i normally do, its a balance that makes me really happy to pursue and keep trying out with.
