Description
Finally I have got some photos of these scars healed. Wiring Diagram and Endless Knot both done by the amazing Timb Wilton. You can see how both scars healed differently. I love the way they have turned out.
If you look through my other photos you will find both of these scars freshly done.
If you have any questions, happy to try and answer them.

I have seen some say, why not decorate the walls of the temple?
Personally I think we all do various harmful things to our bodies during the course of our lifetime, and if we judge others for it then we're just being hypocrites.

People have different definitions of the word "destroy". Where one culture may see scarification as abhorrent, another sees it as a rite of passage, and a sign of respect. This person obviously saw the beauty in the latter. Many of us have different values of expression; why not respect that?

Then perhaps you shouldn't be pushing your opinions on others. It gives off the wrong impression.

There is no such thing as a universally "right" opinion. You have your beliefs and I have mine, just as the artist has their own as well. However, I did not push mine on you, and the artist did not make you look at their art. Therefore, it is common courtesy for you to simply exit the page without exhibiting such uncouth behaviour as to insult her values and understanding of the world. (And if you don't believe in common courtesy, you are evidently not old nor mentally capable enough to form an opinion.)

Please note, ma'am, that the person you are conversing with is 19, and even I, being two-three years his Junior, am more respectful and insightful than he. So your words are wasted in a sense that he will ignore you mercilessly and your point won't be made successfully.
Just saving you words.

I am a male, thank you. And I'm entirely aware of the fact that this will be ignored; nonetheless, I am compelled to add my opinion, if only for the sake of promoting some form of free speech against public hatred. *sighs* It's a pity that it will not be noted by this person, but in the very least someone else may read it and realize that such actions are intolerable.

Why do people get tattoos, gauges, ear/lip/belly piercings?
It's a form of expression - some consider it to be extreme but it's expression none the less.

That's your opinion- one not everyone shares- in our opinion- this isn't destruction.
To destroy is to make something incapable of use- to render useless. I don't believe in this case her temple is useless.

They are forever, if you look at African tribes that practice scarification you can see that they never go away.

Wow, those are amazing, I had never really thought of art scars until now, opens my eyes to a whole new world, kinda like the first time I heard of eye dying and tattoos. They look amazing and give a new spin on modification, not to mention the tattoos themselves are also beautiful and tasteful.

I really like this piece 8) truth be told I've never seen "scarring" before other than you knowcutting, I think its kindof amazing that this could go away from that. And when I think about it its not really different from tattooing. Love your concepts too. I took electricity last year and I loved the curcuits. And endless knots are also amazing. Amazing how you can get those so clean with scarring. I can't even draw a solid line much less cut one.

I had never heard of scarification before now, and while it's not something I'd ever have done to myself, it's just another way of decorating the body and it does look pretty cool.

That would be the perfect solution to "cover" not so pretty scars someone already has. I wouldn't be able to do it for the fun, but if I ever had a serious accident/surgery that would be an option.

SOME PEOPLE COMMENTING HERE ARE REALLY RUDE and i'm sorry you have to deal with that because being able to heal scarification so well and have it turn out so beautifully is a great accomplishment. it looks astounding and anyone who says this is gross and unnatural seem kind of stupid because tattoos are very similar to scarification; they're permanent and to most it hurts to get it done. but both are art and i think they're amazing
