Humming to myself, I clutch my books to my chest and stroll down the halls. I still had a good 4 minutes to get to class, and the Crescent Moon classroom wasn't that far ahead, so I have no reason to hurry.

Well, at leaat that's what I thought.

You see, Lord Death's song, Death the Kid, has a severe case of OCD, and I could quite possibly be the most asymmetrical person in the school.

I always have my hair in pig tails or a ponytail, and they are always off centered.

For you see, when I have pig tails, I put one on the near top of my head, and one near the bottom. Then my ponytails are always in a side ponytail. I find it to be cool, and so do the others, but he absolutely hates it.

Oh, and did I mention that my hair is two different colors as well. Haha that drives him insane.

One side of my head is blonde, while the other is brown. It much resembles Galaco from Vocaloid.

Kid has always been after me for it. Constantly demanding me to cut or dye it. But every time, I deny doing it.

That always annoys him, but he doesn't keep pushing. Instead just muttering under his breath, "You're not symmetrical."

Just as I was nearing the doors to my classroom, and hand shoots out from the stairs and grabs ahold of me.

Shrieking, I drop my books and whip my head to the side.

There, hidden in the secret room beneath the stairs, is an annoyed Kid, whith a pair of scissors in his grip.

Widening my eyes, I struggle in his grip, trying to free myself.

"What are you trying to do?!" I shriek out.

Pulling my flailing body towards him more, he positions the dreaded piece of metal near my head.

"I'm going to cut that forsaken hair,that way it will be easier to dye it. You will be symmetrical!"

"Nooooo!!"

Breaking out of his grip, I push him away, and run out of the room, heading full speed towards the classroom.

A cry of protest comes from the area I had recently inhabited, and then footsteps came pounding after me.

My eyes widen in fear, and I run faster. No way am I going to let him catch me.

After what seemed like a century of running for my life, I arrived at my classroom. Huffing, I scurry to my seat, ignoring the looks my fellow classmates gave me.

Sitting down next to Maka, I shrink down in my spot, hugging my arms to my body.

Maka looks at me in alarm.

"What's wrong (Y/n)?"

Just as I was about to answer, the doors slammed open and a ticked off Kid rushed in.

Pointing at me menacingly, he growls. "You."

Letting out a small scream, I bury myself closer to Maka.

Storming up the steps towards the desk I sat at, he goes to grab me again, when Maka slaps his hand away. Glaring daggers into him.

"Stay away from her."

That seemed to startle the grim reaper boy, for he paused.

He quickly recovered however, and shook his head, advancing towards us.

"Her hair must be fixed. It's absolutely unacceptable!!"

"Her hair is fine the way it is, for it represents her. Everybody is entitled to express themselves in their own way. Like you with your hoooooorible unsymmetrical hair."

Maka smirked at her little comment at the end, and crossed her arms.

Death the Kid's eyes widened, and he fell to his knees, choking on sobs.

"You're right, I'm worthless asymmetrical garbage that doesn't deserve to live another day."

I furrow my brows in worry, and bend over to his level. Placing my hand on his shoulder, I lean my head down, and peck his cheek.

The grim reaper boy tensed up, but didn't move away.

"You're not worthless garbage, as a matter of fact, you are far more than that. You're a brave, intelligent, handsome being, and without you, life would be rather dull."

He raises his head up to look at me, his hand covering the place I just kissed.

"Truth be hold Kiddo, I might actually have feelings for you. So don't think bad about yourself."

With that said, a large blush formed over my face. I can't believe I just said that! What is he going to say? He must be thinking I'm an odd stalker chick.

What happened next surprised me.

The gun meister boy leaned over to me, and placed a light kiss on my lips, his hand cupping my cheek.

"The feeling is mutual."

Maka squeals like a fangirl from behind me, and runs off claiming that she is going to get Soul.

Groaning I shake my head. "Oh dear...that's not going to be good."

Chuckling, he leans over to kiss me again, wrapping his arms around my waist to pull me closer.

"I love you (y/n)."

Breaking away, I rest my forehead against his. "As do I my goofy grim reaper."

We stay like that for a few minutes before he decides to totally ruin the romantic moment.

"So, could I fix your hair now?"

"NO!!!"
