It was just another one of those days when nothing was going right. As he walked towards his now empty apartment, he bumped into his grinning colleague who stopped to ask, "Why so serious?" With a scowl, he wordlessly walked past his colleague.

Upon reaching his apartment, he stepped inside the dimly lit room and weakly whispered, "Tadaima," only to receive an enduring silence as a response. He was going to miss hearing, "Okaerinasai."

(Note: Tadaima means, "I'm back home," and okaerinasai means, "Welcome back.")
I just felt like drawing a bishounen...
