Yeah, I was gone half the day yesterday. I should have been online, but I wasn't, because I had to go to the ER.
I could have broken my arm, or choked on some food. I could have been in a car accident, or maybe I could have had a heart attack.
But out of all the things that could have sent me there,
it was all actually because
of
one
dumb
little
coin.

Let me explain.
I was sitting on my computer, playin' games, and chewing on a random coin for no reason in particular. I went down my throat. I tried to cough it up, but that made it go down further. The stupid thing got stuck in my esophagus and my dad drove me to the Emergency Room.
But before the doctors could arrive, 2 car accidents and 3 traumas held my operation back.
I was in the hospital for 12 hours with nothing to do.
12 HOURS.
It was awful. every time I swallowed, it felt like someone stabbed, punched, and hit me on the inside. I screamed for 5 straight minutes at one point, it hurt so badly...
My dad tried to make the best out of it. He said I learned my lesson and then I would have a first hand story to tell children when they ask why not to put something in their mouth. He also bet 25 cents on it being a quarter, but it was a nickel, so I got some money for swallowing a coin (woo!). They put a camera in me and took pictures of it. Jesus, that thing was rammed in there... But yeah, we framed the cent, put it on the wall, and now I have an exciting story to tell everyone.
