Description
An Enchanted WinterI always wanted a shot like this and actually I was able to get a few of them! As odd as it may sound, scenes like this have always escaped me, why I am none to sure but they sure have! Captured on top of the Sandia Mountains outside of Albuquerque, New Mexico, on a very fresh winter morning the day after fresh snowfall. The air was crisp, so clean, so pure, and when I saw this I immediately said "Yes! That's it! That's the shot I have always wanted" and start just shooting away.
I always envisioned this shot, along with the others, being used on greeting cards, postcards, calendars, and that sort of thing, I suppose it just has that kind of look & feel to me. So that being said, I will make them to be purchased as such. I hope you all enjoy it as much as I do!

Really, the downloaded version has the watermark too?
:l
Thanks, you ruined the art.
And I would say find a better place to shoot, without the signs and the road there to mar it.

Very enchanting, love the blue sky against the snow white trees and how the sky deepens in colour.

Lovely snow-topped trees and expansive blue sky. I think the best thing about this wintry image, however, is that the background makes it an identifiably American winter image - you couldn't mistake it for, say, Norway!
All in all, great shot. I find the red of the sig in the bottom corner clashes a bit, though...
