Sorry for the late response to this submission. You sure did give it the right title. The contrasty tones and cool B&W hue give it a flair that no color photo could do justice. I like how Klaus is seemingly staring off into the distance, oblivious to the camera. The sharpness and composition are great.

I love the detail that you've captured! The exposure is good too, which can be tricky in snow scenes. It's not too light or too dark, and you've got a great tonal range. Plus the dog is adorable! lol Excellent shot John!
