Description
This is a reference Sheet to my OC for My Little Pony Friendship is magic. He is not a Pony. He is from a race called the Lycans. They can transform to look like any Pony in all of Equestria. I have not named him yet so if anyone has any ideas what I should name him please share it, right now I am stuck between Moonrise, Dusk or nightfall. I am going to name him in the near future. The Lycans have to learn how to transform into different ponies. However each Lycan has its own Pony Form that they do not have to learn, here is My OC'sΒ Pony Form
Please do not use the Lycans(any of my original characters) or my OC without my permission.
If you want to create your own Pony Wolf Hybrid that does not make it a Lycan so you do not have to tell me. However if you want to create a Lycan that fits in the Race and can turn into different ponies and follows what my fanfictions are defining as Lycans then please submit it toΒ Lycans home , I might even ask you if I can use your OC in a future story so we both benefit.

This is actually a good species. But you should make it something like a griffin, like upper half wolf and lower half pony, or the other way 'round. And they should have wolf-like eyes. Just my suggestion ^^ Keep it going.

It's not very original, but nothing is original nowadays, so... I honestly think the nose looks rather silly, and being an alicorn is something that should probably be reserved for the alpha. The cutie mark is too much like Luna's, and I understand there is a reason, but you can try making a few changes to make it look more original, while still keeping that resemblance. If you're planning on having a beta-wolf type character, try doing some research to make sure what niches he can fill. As for species design changes, the only thing I could actually think of is making the ears more wolf-like and possibly making them visibly furrier. Also, as your character is the only Lycan pony right now, I don't exactly know what limitations there are to the fur, but I am interested in possibly making one, and i'd like to make one with fur similar to the red wolf, if allowed.

Sure you can do that, Do not forget to send a copy of your Final Picture to Lycans of Equestria, that is my spot for all news from the shadow Valley. I was thinking about making the ears furrier as well but some people told me that then it looked like Flutterbat. I might play around with the design more. Thank you for the suggestions.Β

This thing here is actually not that bad
But, I would suggest no horn and tail :/ Oh, and also maybe a re-design on the cutie mark. In my eyes, it resembles Princess Luna's.

That was a artistic Choice. In my fanfic there is a reason for his cutie mark to look like Luna's and he is a beta wolf so he has wings and a horn.

This honestly looks like every oother species of ponies that have some kid of relation to wolves. It also looks like a Bushy Tail Pony. I may suggest heavy redesigning to make it stand out more

The idea of a pony wolf hybrid is not original but my defination of the Lycans including the ability for them to have a pony form, and the Legend of them and their Origins in my fanfic and were they fit into equestria is original. Mostly that is just because I am interested in seeing what other people do with it. It is not like I am going to stop anyone from drawing their own but I would like to see what they create based upon mine.Β

You could make your own Pony Wolf hybrid inspired by my artwork and It would not be a lycan however I would still love to see it, however do not steal any of my characters that are Lycans because they are original. Also the backstory that I have given them makes them lycan. Including but not limited to the idea of them being able to transform into a pony version of themselves.Β

Someone else may have thought about a wolf hybrid pony however my Creation of the Lycans and the Backstory that I have given them is Original. Later this week I am going to start my fanfic that deals with the Lycans and how they fit into Equestria.Β

He has both horns and wings because that is my OC and he is a Lycan. In my fanfic he is one of the beta Lycans in his pack so he has both.Β

Technically he is not a wolf. Lycans are like changelings only Lycans do not want to hurt ponies, and Lycans like Luna.Β
