You really know how to make my characters look downright gorgeous.

Thank you! I gotta admit, whenever I draw someone's character, even just a sketch... I get a little anxiety like, "Am I doing this character justice? Does this look at all right?!"
I'm glad you've enjoyed the work I've done for you thus far!

Hmm, maybe a little bit. She was nowhere near my mind when I sketched her for Zandock, though. I actually did draw Dany a few years ago, I'll need to do that again now that the show is actually popular now! XD

I must admit I haven't watched it myself, because I like... sorta watched it as I drew it. XD Not being able to add music bugs me, but it's good to hear the video turned out alright!

I get the feeling ^^
Many people now just post the coloring part and not the line-art & co, it's nice to see some again.

Well it was a sketch, so it's all just one messy process. It was about an hour total.
When I started out doing videos, back when I actually DID do line art, I often did it traditionally so I just posted the coloring parts as well. But then I had people accusing me of tracing my works and got banned from a bunch of dA groups due to those accusations and it was a big mess. So now if I do any videos, I just record the entire thing, making sure I start with a blank canvas, not even a thumbnail sketch. Makes the recorded drawings suffer a bit, because pre-vis is like 50% of the work, but whatever.

(I use "line-art" as some sort of magic word to describe every monochrome process before a coloring, screw my vocabulary ^^ )

This free-hate, it's so pointless.
Some people simply want to take part to such witch hunt for a twisted justice crap, so easier than to recognize & praise someone's talent.
They're not sure of their accusations, they just want to "play" like inquisitors, even if it means ruinning the work of some talented artist that live through their art.
( Ofc some people still do it right and full respect to them, but they're few )

As a Hobyist artist as DA says, this kind of stuff is far away from my personnal concern, but when the stupid sheep mob target an artist i'm watching, it makes me so mad.

Eh... it happens. It's mostly bred through jealousy. It never would've happened if I didn't critique the wrong person. I was an admin in a group that had certain quality standards for accepting art, not really a high bar or anything, and it still needed a vote of 3 "yeses" out of 5 to be accepted. Some girl who was way more popular than she deserved to be was upset that her work was denied, and asked for criticism, and I gave her honest (but still rather reserved) feedback. She didn't take it too well, and made journals about me and the easiest way to discredit an artist at the time was to say their work was traced.
...which wasn't that hard to do, since I was also a scrub, and I used to reference drawings, particularly Tony Taka's. My style basically was an imitation of his, so even when I didn't emulate his poses, it still looked like I was copying something that already existed. It didn't help that I had developed a really good eye for replication, since in high school I started getting into photo realism, and after a certain point I could get most details exact by just eyeballing (I have a couple realistic sketches in my gallery on this account that are very close to their original sources). Needless to say, even though the works weren't traced (a few were "eyeballed," but most were just drawn in the same style), I couldn't log onto deviantART without getting a whole bunch of comments on my front page and each drawing about being a "tracer" and I got so many notes telling me to kill myself... I deactivated the account and just left. I got banned from the group I adminned and had a journal written about me. Lots of dumb teen drama. Couldn't explain that stuff to anyone, the only people who knew my works weren't traced were the ones who were around me in real life as I drew, since I worked primarily in my school's computer labs.

A lot of people interpreted that leaving as "admitting I traced and running away" or something, but there's only so much harassment a person can take, and denying it all "only made it worse." But hey, if any of those harassers see this comment and want to hate on me for it, so be it! Pretty sure that by now, my skills are proven, and I've got my own style at this point which can't be traced. Hell, that's most of the reason I stopped doing line art-- I didn't like the idea that an existing drawing could be warped to fit my drawings, because every post has been done before. It just got so ridiculous. That's just life with the casuals on deviantART, though. Nowadays, the professional realm is stuck up with debates over photo-bashing and photo-manipulation to achieve hyper-realistic results in short amounts of time. That's a silly debate mostly built up of people salty that certain artists get really popular with their manipulated portraits. There's not really a market for that stuff, though-- "likes" don't translate to dollars. Might have a successful Patreon campaign, but that's going to be the bulk of their income, and then they risk legal actions pursued by the photographers who took the original photos. That's neither here nor there, of course. Art's much simpler when you just draw and don't think about that crap.

The f*ck, that's pretty dark.
I know some people have time to lose but posting "kill yourself" messages on someone's account, those emo kids have a problemΒ -_-
( Well i played LoL, so i'm not so surprised tho ! )

I agree that critism must be on point, no matter popularity. So always more harsh than kind, after all, the point is not to please the ego of the artist, like this girl seem to have mistaken.
Being an artist means taking it as it is and grow out of it, by seeing the part of truth within the critism...

I understand the backing away thing, stupidity isn't cured in a day and many don't have time to lose with it. Teen drama on point.

Anyway people are too afraid to put some trust in somebody now.
But as far as i remember, it's not the first time we talk but, you really seem like the "Hate-magnet" type ( Not in a bad way tho don't take it badly ), i know some people like that and they're cool people but, they just have the worst luck in relationship ever ( Trust me, they're friends with me after all, that tells alot ! ),Β take a free hug.

[ Btw on a lighter note : Dude, put a quick NSFW tag next time, i was checking Tony Taka on google image with friends on the same counch xD Β  Β Hopefully i'm a ninja ( False ) and they're not sober ( Truth ) so no weird situation but that would have been a pain to explainΒ ]

Pfft, shame on you for searching with Safe Search off! I'm sure if you googled my name, you'd get NSFW stuff as well. Tony does both as well, he primarily did game art until he started doing lewds.

I could've been much harsher. I was very very light with my wording, but she was... honestly really bad. There's a solidarity among that type, though, which explains why I had so much hate coming at me. My current breed of "haters" is likely a ripple from that. I think wasting time trying to tear someone down is silly, especially when they're just trying to cover up and excuse their own short-comings.

I don't even know that safe search existed, it's the internet, of course there are dangers out there.

People don't change that easily,
anyway, keep up the good work !
