I love this!@ I never knew it was so easy. If I can find my crochet needle (and something hard and ring-like), I might make one today!

Love the idea of using crocheting on the ring! Think I'll try that on one of my next dreamcatchers.
Made the ring look really neat!

I've used your idea of crocheting over a metal circle in my last work - [link]
thank you!

It turned out so neat and lovely that I can't stand trying to do one myself. Thank you very much for sharing knowledge and inspiring (^

That's pretty awesome. Where do you find the plastic rings (or at least, what section of a craft store would I look at to find them)?

I'd look with the fabric. I say that because it looks like an embroidery hoop (you know, one of the plastic/wood circle things that you put fabric over), and I know a bit about sewing. But don't hold me to my guess since I can't see the ring in person.

I wish you'd include the crochet part, seeing as I know how to do the dreamcatcher bit, just not the crochet bit!

Well, the crochet part it's already included XD You surely have to know a bit how to use a crochet hook and to single crochet, but you can find tons of tutorials about it I think i will make a tutorial about how to crochet, and link it to all my tutorials.
Thank you for your comment, and happy new year!

Nice tutorial for mini-dreamcatchers!
I've made larger ones using metal rings as bases and cover them with narrow strips of leather. Gave one to a teacher and she almost fainted because she thought I bought it.

Hmm, you could even do an extra design along the crochet stitches in the form of another row.
AND, if you can manage thread crochet, you could easily go to one of those 25-50 cent machines and get one of their tiny plastic rings and have a go at that too
This is an awesome tutorial~!!!
