1. I couldn't put in the controls as they could not fit into the art.

2. Why does the background look a bit off?

Then don't use daMuro, use something like Photoshop, FireAlpaca, or even MSPaint

The background is supposed to be either a green grid, or just a blank black background.
The background in this picture looks like neither.

I can't download any of those drawing programs because the computer I'm using is already full on memory.

ha ha i think mspaint is the easiest program out there but i mainly draw with firealpaca because it makes my art look more pro

Nothing, I use it for shading or stuff like that to make my pictures perfect.
