Modeling is almost done. Since I won't be able to work on this for a little while, I'm posting it now.A redesign of Slithe from Thundercats. As with Lion-o, I try to age him about 10 years. So what would Slithe look like 10 years later? Well, he's been eating well. He'd have scars all over from his experiences. Thick heavy armor that's a bit tech. He'd have a big weapon which I haven't design yet. I made him more toward an amphibian design because I think he resembles more of a frog than a reptile.
Base model, hard surfaces and rendering in Maya.
Detailed and sculpted in Zbrush.

For this model I use Maya for the hard surface and base models. I use ZBrush detail the main body and cloths.

Thanks you. On my computer the program 3 ds max 9 is established, but to me have told that for modelling of characters approaches Maya more. It is really so?

Awesome, but honestly not liking the fish tail. He's a lizard after all. But it's an absolutely stunning piece of work & I'm certain it's got a lot of work put into it.

Funny you should mentioned that. I tone done the tip of the tail last weekend. I was going less reptilian and more amphibian so the tail was from a tadpole.

Not taking anything away from the piece I love it! but he was a Reptilian. It's still all cool I'm stoked at the Awesome details on the design. I even recommended this for a DD cause it's totally deserving. Hope it shows up one day soon.

You and Z brush were made for each other. This redesign is just as awesome as Lion-O. I really love the skin texture you gave him and I can't wait to see that weapon.
