1. the bones of a bird wing are very small compared to the actual feathers. One short bone pointing down at like a 45 degree angle (im terrible with degrees and stuff so sorry if thats not accurate oof) then a longer bone pointing up also at 45? then a much smaller bone pointing out and a little down

2. the muscles are most prominent on the bone closest to the bird's body and also line the top of the long bone. there are a few other tendons that help the bird move the wing

3. the feathers can be separated into sections, think of it like 3 layers and each layer has two parts. The layers start small and get larger down the wing from the top to the bottom (vertically)

4. there is also a 'line' that runs down the wing. this 'line' is where the wing folds. this is where the layers can be separated into parts. Notice, however that the top layer is separated from all the others. This is because that section of feathers actually crosses over the line a tad bit.

5. Lets look at number 3 at the dark blue feathers. the feathers are short on both sides of this section, they dip down into the middle, where the feathers are longest in that section. the feathers follow a curve (without it the wing looks awkward and the bird would not be able to fly because the surface area is decreased greatly which can cause a multitude of problems)

6. Let's look at number 3 again, but this time at the green section. The feathers at the very end of the section are not the longest, the longest feather is actually in about 1-2 feathers in from the left.

p.s. I for some reason colored the feathers the opposite colors. number 5 should've been blue and number 6 should've been green sorry!
