I think that this painting calls for some stronger, more vivid color. Now it looks a little bit washed out. Same goes to some of your other paintings too. There is too much white. Just be bold and add more color. I also see that you've struggled a little bit of how the paint flows. Unfortunately that can only be solved by investing in better watercolor paper. It is easier to get stronger colors on better paper.

I know this painting is pretty washed out. :3 It was just something I needed to get out of my head. Thank you for the constructive criticism, on that note. It's very much appreciative. I know that really all I can do is invest in better materials, but I'm not happy enough with my paintings yet to spend so much on one. c: Not to mention I'd have to order it online because the small city I live in only have a few real art stores, and one of them is the commercial hobby lobby. >.< (sorry for supplying so much information, I dunno cx)
Also, In some of my paintings the idea is to keep it light and delicate, but I do realize I need to get darker. I honestly just don't have the right paper at this moment. I'm too impatient to wait for it to dry thoroughly and then keep going.Β
Again, it was very nice of you to give me some real feedback and some real solutions. c:

You are more than welcome. I know your troubles. Good watercolor paper is hard to come by. Most of the ones in book stores etc. are not up for the job. I live in the capital of my country and I only know 3 shops here that have proper watercolor paper. Only one of them has the one that I prefer (a balance between price and quality)! When you've put money on the paper you really don't want to waste it. I get that too! It's the horror of a oh-so-pretty clean white paper. Unfortunately tho what I've found is that practicing on the cheaper papers doesn't really help so much. I have stacks of them in my closet! It just doesn't give the same feeling AT ALL and therefore is not helpful with learning techniques. It can help getting the idea of the basic shapes and colors but not so much the actual painting and blending color. It depends on your technique too though. If you use very little water and paint thickly it might be ok. I've done it in the past.Β That is what I've found at least... someone else might have a different opinion.Β

I know it's a dead girl, but... it kinda reminds me of the times I used to believe that balloons could rise me up to the sky xD

Hehe, I also believed that if I started to fell with a balloon or umbrella in my hand it could slow down my speed of falling xD Ahh... good times :')

I remember I use to take plastic bags and try and make parachutes by jumping off the backs of my couches and such. I actually made parachutes for my toys and stuff with baskets and lots of bags. :3 Kids are weirddd! cx

I used to do that too! : D Endless parades of jumps from my couch, pretending that my plastic bag i s a parachute. Yea, kids are weird, but being weird is the best part of every childhood I think Cx

I loved playing lost in the forest or something and jumping around and yep yep (had a club house at the bottom of my backyard, too) IT WAS AWESOMEE!!!!Β

I remember when my parents bought a new wardrobe and since it was empty, I hid inside it and my mom was looking for me all around the flat xD I kept sitting in there and left it after a while x3 There was a really one cool playground two, in the area... Ahh.. so much time spent on the swing... And I didn't wanted to go home xd I remember times, when mothers came there with their children, and mine took me there too. I drive to my school everyday near it. Trying to realize, that there are not many people coming now :/ even at summer... it's a bit dirty now. But still, good memories from this place ^^
