Man, I actually drew this months ago... finally got around to colouring it. I should be working on art for my portfolio but I thought I'd treat my DA with another Amuto work first, haha.Lots of my friends commented on Amu's face. There's actually a story behind it - she isn't in pain, lol. Ikuto basically dared her to kiss him for a change and she is nervous as hell.
This is my first attempt at painter 11 so i hope it doesn't look too bad. I did the lineart in photoshop and the colouring in painter... It's weird using a new program, but I like painter so far
This picture was meant to be for Christmas... so much for that. Well, hope you enjoy it anyhow!

I was going to mention the face too lol. Actually I read some of the shugo chara the manga and it was much better than the anime. I guess the high pitched voices made it too gay for me.

Haha, yeah, the anime is crazy weird. I like the manga a lot better. Although... the last couple chapters have been a bit strange o.o

its interesting too because its the first published manga that i've seen that uses digital toning. Although the craziest manga i've read is tsubasa, because the plot goes insane

most mangaka's do the shading by hand but the artist of shugo chara (peach pit) uses the computer to shade

So true, so true. Tsubasa gets absolutely insane... but so good!! I like how it intermixes with xxxholic so the plot gets even crazier, haha.
